At this halfway point, you should have a position that is built to accelerate the amount of power you are producing.
Impact
Surprisingly, what you are going to find is that there can be quite a disparity between the positions of golfers when they actually make impact with the ball. The most important thing is to have your arms extended and to have the total of your back foot as the point of contact with the ground as you are giving the final push.
Finish
What many people do not realize is that you need to continue your drive all the way through the ball. This not only protects your body from getting hurt, but ensures there is not a loss of power during the swing.
